Monica Kvas, RCC


Monica Kvas obtained her Master of Counselling Psychology degree from Chaminade University of Honolulu. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in B.C. and a licensed mental health counsellor in the United States. She sees clients across the lifespan beginning at age 5 to geriatric. Her clinical expertise include mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, adjustment disorders, PTSD, grief, loss, and Autism Spectrum disorders. She also conducts life coaching and specializes in stress reduction and increasing life satisfaction.
Monica believes in a holistic approach to treatment and uses a variety of clinical modalities and skills depending on individual needs and diagnosis. Some of her modalities include mindfulness, stress management techniques, internal family systems therapy (IFS), emotional freedom technique, cognitive behavioral therapy and expressive therapies.
