Sarah Lefebure, MA, RCC

Sarah Lefebure has been a counsellor since 2008. She has always had a keen interest in stories and the meanings we assign to things. Sarah is happy to offer counselling in both English and French. She has worked as a post-secondary counsellor, supporting students of diverse ages, cultural backgrounds, gender identities and sexual orientations.

Sarah uses a person-centred, holistic approach: you are the expert about your life, and her role is to provide warm, compassionate support as you work, together, to gain insight and address the challenges you’re facing. Sarah can help you to look at the different parts of your life and identify strengths and weaknesses, build in self-care and positive coping strategies, and nurture self-awareness and well-being. Sarah is a Level 1 practitioner (and is pursuing Level 2 training) in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), an approach that is particularly effective in helping clients resolve trauma and process painful emotions.
