Waypoint Counselling Network is dedicated to helping clients find the best match for a counsellor so that they experience better and faster results.

Waypoint Counselling was created in 2014 with a clear mission: to make finding the right counsellor easier and more effective. One of the strongest indicators of successful therapy is the connection between client and counsellor—yet for many, that first step can be daunting. A simple online search often leads to hundreds of listings, leaving people overwhelmed, unsure of who to trust, or uncertain about what type of therapy might suit their needs. We believe that finding the right therapist should be a meaningful, stress-free experience — not a frustrating maze of endless profiles and uncertainty.

Waypoint was founded to remove these barriers. We provide a seamless, supportive way for individuals to connect with a counsellor who truly understands them—someone who aligns with their concerns, personality, and goals.

We serve clients across Greater Victoria, Vancouver, and Kelowna, offering both in-person sessions and virtual counselling to accommodate different needs and lifestyles. Whether you prefer to meet face-to-face or from the comfort of your home, we make sure the experience is accessible, welcoming, and grounded in real connection.

At Waypoint, we take the guesswork out of the search process. When someone reaches out, we personally match them with one of our two dozen highly skilled and compassionate counsellors. Because we know each therapist’s style, approach, and areas of expertise, we can fine-tune our recommendations to ensure the best possible fit.

Our goal is to make it easier for people to begin their journey toward healing, growth, and clarity—with confidence in the support they receive. And once that journey begins, we don’t disappear. We follow up to make sure the fit still feels right, and we’re always here if adjustments are needed.

At Waypoint, we believe everyone deserves a counselling experience built on trust, comfort, and connection—and we’re here to help make that possible.

Who is behind the scenes? We keep it small and mighty.
