By offering clear, transparent rates, we hope to build trust with our clients. Find out more information on our rates and insurance coverage in the headings below.
Fees for counselling services follow the Recommended Fees Schedule of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Many of our counsellors offer sliding scale rates. Please discuss this with your counsellor or our Clinical Director if you have questions.
Many extended insurance plans provided by employers pay for counselling by a “Registered Clinical Counsellor” (RCC) or a “Certified Canadian Counsellor” of your choice. For example, employees of the BC Public Service and the Capital Regional District have a certain amount of counselling available per year through their extended health care plan. Depending on your plan, you might not be required to use the counselling service contracted by your employer but instead select our own counsellor. As long as the therapist has the required designation, you could be reimbursed up to your yearly limit. Our Clinical Director can help you sort out if you have such benefits or you can call your insurance provider and find out any details.
Claims and Payments
We also handle ICBC and WCB claims. And remember, at WayPoint, your first 30 minute consultation is free. Once you begin counselling, you can pay by cash, cheques, Visa, Mastercard and PayPal at the end of each session.
