Ashley Berg
, MSW, RSWRegistered Social Worker
I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) in Kelowna, BC providing counselling in-person online by phone or video. I work with children aged 5 and over, adults, couples and families. My experience includes helping people with ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, undiagnosed behavioral difficulties, and trauma.
My approach to counselling is to meet you where you are at, and to provide guidance, insight, and practical skills to help you move forward. I help people identify unhelpful thought patterns and learn ways to challenge negative thoughts. I believe in the importance of daily self-care and finding healthy ways to look after yourself.
I support adults struggling with mental health issues, navigating life transitions and relationship difficulties, providing healthy coping strategies to manage day to day stressors. I incorporate mindfulness-based approaches and somatic awareness into my sessions. My goal is to provide a warm, open-minded, and comfortable environment for her clients.
My work with children and youth focus on moderate to severe mental health concerns and those who are neurodiverse. When it comes to working with this population, I approach issues by considering the family as whole. This means working with families to provide psychoeducation, therapy, and support. For children, youth and families, she provides a welcoming and safe environment with their treatment.
