Grief and Loss Counselling in Greater Victoria, Vancouver, Kelowna or online anywhere

Grief is our response to loss, particularly to the loss of someone or something to which there is a deep bond or attachment. Every culture specifies a response to grieving suggesting particular rituals, styles of dress, or emotional expression.

Grief counselling can help a person get through the challenging phases of this very important process. At Waypoint Counselling Network, we are here to help.

All of our counsellors offer sessions by phone or online with a secure video link.

The “work of grieving” is both emotional and physical, and for many of us, we are not even aware of the effects all the time.  It is also very personal – everyone grieves in their own way, in their own time. Sometimes it is a very private experience, and for others it impacts their relationships with others and their ability to work and experience everyday joy.

Grief counselling can make a significant difference in helping a person face the day to day pain of missing a loved one.  At Waypoint Counselling and Referral Centre, we have counsellors available for in-person counselling in Greater Victoria, Vancouver, or Kelowna.  We also offer e-counselling by phone, text or secure video so we can help wherever you are.

We provide personal and professional support to match you to the most appropriate counsellor for what you are experiencing.  The counselling process is highly personal and the match to the right counsellor is the most important factor in experiencing good outcomes.
