Eric Addleman is a Registered Clinical Counsellor located in Victoria who currently provides telephone and video counselling services and will offer in person counselling once the pandemic risk lessens. Eric specializes in working with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, uncontrollable anger, trauma, high stress levels, transitions in life, and relationship/interpersonal issues. Eric believes in utilizing client strengths to empower individuals to overcome their challenges.
Eric utilizes a person-centred approach and engages with Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative and Psychodynamic modalities that are tailored to client needs.
Clients describe Eric as warm, engaging, empathetic and relatable. Eric understands that life is nuanced, and he is committed to working with his clients to achieve their goals.
Eric has a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, is a member of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and has undertaken extensive training in crisis management. Outside of work, Eric enjoys hiking with his dogs and spending time with his family.
