Heiin (pronounced Hine) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor located in Burnaby, BC, providing in-person, online,
and phone counselling to individuals and couples. Heiin works collaboratively with clients to help
them navigate life’s challenges, heal from past experiences, and move toward personal growth
and resilience. She has extensive experience working with clients facing issues such as anxiety,
depression, stress, relationship difficulties, trauma, self-esteem and self-worth, and life
transitions.
Her approach integrates a range of therapeutic modalities, including Emotionally Focused
Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and
mindfulness-based practices, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. She believes in
creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts
and emotions, gain insight, and develop healthier patterns of coping. She views counselling as a
collaborative journey and feels privileged to walk alongside clients as they discover their
strengths, heal, and create fulfilling lives.
Fluent in both English and Korean, Heiin offers counselling services in both languages to serve
diverse communities and foster accessible mental health care. She values cultural sensitivity
and recognizes the importance of understanding clients within the context of their cultural,
family, and community systems.
