Keva (pronounced Kee-va) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in Victoria, BC providing in-person and online counselling for youth (17+), adults, and couples. Her areas of specialization include couples, life transitions, processing traumatic experiences, and navigating challenging relationships at work or at home. She recognizes that depression, anxiety, and substance use are often interconnected with these core issues and works to address the whole picture.

Keva brings a calm, curious, and creative presence to her practice. With specialized training in both trauma and relationship work, she uses proven therapeutic approaches to help you recognize your patterns of thinking and behaviour and work together to support changes to create the life you want. Some of her therapeutic approaches include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy, the Gottman Couples Method, Somatic Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.

Keva is very experienced in working with couples. She has completed additional training in the Gottman Method (Levels 1 & 2) . The Gottman Method is a well researched approach that helps couples strengthen their emotional connection and manage conflict effectively. She also specialized in trauma, and has completed additional training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), specialized training in somatic therapy and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T), an innovative approach using eye movements and somatics to process traumatic experiences

When she’s not working, Keva enjoys sports of all sorts, gardening, writing poems, and spending time with her family.
