Stephanie Hayes is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in Saanich, BC. She offers couples and marriage counselling in person or over secure video. Stephanie enjoys helping clients make meaningful changes that will strengthen their relationship with their partner and with themselves. She works with couples to communicate effectively, to navigate challenging topics, to develop healthy ways to work through conflict, and to move toward greater physical and emotional intimacy. Stephanie has experience helping couples rebuild their relationships after betrayal and infidelity.

Stephanie strives to provide a compassionate and supportive space to do this important work. She will collaborate with you to ensure that the pace is good for you. In the first session, she will inquire about your relationship history, your strengths, and what you hope to gain from couples counselling. She will offer a plan for the next steps in the counselling process based on the information that you share in the session. There will be activities to work on between sessions to integrate skills and to promote personal and relationship growth.

Stephanie has completed training in the Developmental Model of Couples Counselling. The approach focuses on the role of the growth and development of each individual partner as well as that of the couple as a unit.

In previous careers, she was an early childhood educator, a business owner, and a college instructor. In her spare time, she enjoys exercise, spending time in nature, reading, and knitting.
