I offer online and in-person counselling in Victoria, BC for youth (13+) adults, couples and families navigate personal, relational, professional, and situational distress by creating a space of safety, exploration, and support. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Meditation Instructor. I believe that meaningful and lasting change happens when we deepen our self-awareness, build on our existing capacity for self-healing. and expand our toolkit with new insights and skills. My goal is to provide a safe space to support my clients in this process that pushes boundaries yet feels right and safe for them while fostering transformation along the way.

Here are some key areas that I focus on in my practice:

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) & Anxiety: OCD is more common than people realize. Anxiety can run deep, shaped by past experiences and patterns of thinking. OCD and Anxiety show up in our bodies, yet we may tend to intellectualize and overthink which can leave us feeling stuck and overwhelmed. In our work together, we gently explore the source and patterns of anxiety and OCD and with my specialized training, we can build new skills of responding to life’s challenges and regaining your confidence to move forward.

EMDR and Trauma: I have extensive experience supporting individuals who have experienced trauma. I use trauma-informed evidence-based practice such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process and heal from the effects of stress, trauma, and PTSD. Whatever your story may be, I will provide a supportive and safe environment as you build skills to move towards resiliency and increased capacity for change and growth.

Transition & Change: Life is filled with transitions and changes I have heard many clients discuss the struggle of navigating such changes whether expected or not. Uncertainty, stress, loss of connection and purpose can be challenging. This can also be conceptualized as an opportunity to re-evaluate and grow.  Together, we can explore this to build resilience to move forward and define new goals for growth.

Relationships: Relationship challenges such as breakdown in communication and trust, difference in parenting priorities and techniques can cause breakdowns in the relationship and dynamics that leave us feeling stuck. Together, we can explore the dynamics in your relationships to better understand your communication skills, values, and problem solving in a way that aligns with your strengths, and allows both parties to feel heard and validated within the relationship.
