She is a Registered Clinical Counselor in Victoria, BC offering individual and couples counselling in-person and online counselling via phone or video.  She has a specialization in trauma and crisis response and also helps clients with anxiety, depression, career choices, relationship struggles, challenging life transitions, emotional dysregulation, lack of impulse control, anger, ADHD, sleep issues, somatic experiences and grief and loss. Vanessa works with clients on where they are at and based on their individual needs.

Vanessa is a skilled couples counsellor and uses the Gottman Couples Method in addition to Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy.  She also has experience in career counselling and has supported a wide variety of people with diverse needs and abilities to enhance job and career exploration.

Vanessa’s experience includes 10 years experience working in Mental Health and Substance Use at Island Health and 5 years experience in private practice. Vanessa can help with diagnostic clarification and medication reviews in partnership with doctors and Psychiatrists. Vanessa will guide you through the process and help you come up with a action plan for moving through the hard times you are experiencing.
