Direct Billing for Counselling Services
Waypoint offers Direct Billing for some insurance plans! We are registered with Telus eClaims. Click this table to see if your plan is eligible for Direct Billing. If your plan is not listed, then you will need to submit your receipt to your plan for reimbursement.
If your plan is listed, the next steps are:
- Check with your insurance plan. Find out what kind of counsellor you are covered for and your dollar limit. Most plans cover Registered Clinical Counselors (RCCs), Canadian Certified Counsellors (CCCs) and/or Registered Social Workers (RSWs). We have RCCs, CCCs and RSWs on our team and can help match you to the right therapist or you can check when booking online. Due to privacy limitations, we cannot check your coverage on your behalf.
- Send us your plan details. You can email a photo to info@waypointcounselling.ca
- Have your credit card on file. We might have to charge your card if your do not have 100% coverage. If you are not sure how to do this, email us at info@waypointcounselling.ca and we’ll update your profile.
Note: We are not able to direct bill for Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life Insurance, First Nations Health Authority, ICBC or CVAP.
