About Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a well researched approach that can help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are all interconnected and how to break the cycle of negative thinking. It’s commonly used to treat anxiety and depression, and can be useful for other problems including eating disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic attacks, phobias, post traumatic stress disorder, and insomnia. Unlike some other counselling approaches, CBT deals with your current problems, rather than focusing on issues from your past. It looks for practical ways to improve your daily state of mind.
